Cheap Eyeglasses.....

I was surfing the internet the other day and ran into an article by a guy named Eric, at this website :  http://www.examiner.com/x-28795-Brooklyn-Liberal-Examiner~y2009m11d13-Cheap-eyeglasses-are-a-reality-  He was talking about this place where you can get cheap  eyeglasses  with really great styles available to choose from.  It seems that this company will take your prescription, and produce quality eye wear, in a matter of a few days.  I'm know that buying glasses online, may make you a bit unsure about the quality of the product.  It would me too, so I began investigating this website and noticed that they offered good references as well as testimonials from recent and return customers.   They say that you should have your ready to wear glasses back within a week or so after your order has been made and approved.  They make their products available at such a great price, that you can afford more than one pair.
Parents with children who are always loosing or breaking their glasses, can buy more than one prescription pair of eyeglasses and have a back up should the present pair come home broken.  Sports oriented children are the world's worst at breaking their glasses, and this is exactly what the parents could utilize.

US Marine CH53 helicopters land in Marjah on February 25. US-led forces were winding down one of their biggest offensives in Afghanistan on Saturday, but an official said it was a prelude to a larger assault on the Taliban bastion of Kandahar.
In this Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 photo, Marines carry the body ...
Marines carry the body of a U.S. Marine killed in action to a U.S. Army Task Force Pegasus medevac helicopter, in Helmand province, Afghanistan. While Pegasus crews' primary mission is the fast medical evacuation of wounded combatants and civilians, they also provide transport when service members are killed in action. Pegasus crews refer to service members killed in action as 'Angels,' and many describe it it as an honor to transport them.
We never seem to realize the vast amount of danger our troops are facing on a daily basis.  It's necessary to be on guard 24/7 in order for them to survive.  The weather over in those countries, provides no relief to their already fatigued bodies.  I see the reason why our soldiers come home needing all sorts of emotional support.  This is a very stressful situation which they face daily.

Needed Exposure.....

I was scanning my article lists, and noticed the count amount I had written and submitted for just one of my blogs in the last year.  It's amazing to realize how many posts you can write in a year's time, by just submitting one on a daily basis.  I look back and see all the different subjects that I've written about.  My knowledge and ability to write has brought wonder to many, when I try to explain the terms of these actions.  I explain to them how you can  submit your articles on your blogs and then get them noticed by other people around the internet world.  They seem to be ready to launch into this type of income earning, until I explain the "do's and don'ts expected of them.  Rarely do I see someone who is interested enough to stick it out for the duration.  When I start telling them about the 3 to 4 months waiting period required by certain website's, they seem to loose interest. Explaining to people the extent of blogging, tends to overload their way of thinking about money making on the internet.
I thought I was getting into something too large to handle back when I first began.  I almost gave up and let the blogs flounder.  Finally with long suffering through many failed attempts, I began to see a patch of blue.  This wet my appetite to the point of trying harder, and establishing contacts with other bloggers.  My traffic was small, and I found free search engines that helped, but I still had to maintain the efforts daily.  Today, I am still searching for ways to get more exposure for my blogs and increase my page ranks.

A Need To Remember.......

It seems that our hearts and minds have turn to all the different disasters that have been happening around the world in the last month or so.  I want to be able to help in some small way, and yet I don't want to loose sight of our faithful soldiers, who are overseas right on the front lines in "harm's way".  The families of these soldiers live with the daily fear, that word will come to their door about the loss of their loved one, in battle.  There's a need for prayer, and emotional support not only for our soldiers but for their families here at home.  Try to remember what our soldier's and their families are experiencing during these troubled times.  Say a prayer for them.......it's the least you can do.

Pray For Our Troops

'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their
families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world.

Of all the gifts you could give a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, & others deployed in harm's way, prayer is the very best one.

More Snow On the Way.........

The potentially crippling new storm was expected to hit other big cities along the East Coast, including Baltimore and Philadelphia, that are still digging out and extend into New Jersey and New York.
It would pile on to the 32 inches of snow that fell in suburban Washington in the biggest snowfall to hit the city in decades.

I Wonder.....

Ten U.S. Baptist missionaries were charged with kidnapping Thursday for trying to take 33 children out of Haiti to a hastily arranged refuge just as officials were trying to protect children from predators in the chaos of a great earthquake.
What do you think?  Is it child kidnapping, or just trying to help and make a difference?  I know that there will be a lot of controversy about it, and I believe that if the parents thought they could take care of their children, then they wouldn't have handed them over to these people to take out of the country.  Wanting your child to have a better life, food, clothing and schooling is something any parent would hope for their children.  I guess we will find out what happens as time progresses.

China Angered at USA

A Taiwanese soldier sits in a locally made CM-11 tank during a drill in Hukou in northern Hsinchu. China and the United States were locked Sunday in an escalating row over US arms sales to Taiwan, with Washington rebuffing Chinese protests and insisting the deal promotes stability in the Taiwan Strait.
No country worthy of respect can sit idle while its national security is endangered and core interests damaged.  The United States remains Taiwan's biggest backer and is obliged by the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act to help in the island's defense.
