American History

Here is the latest tribute, but I know this could stir some debate because every American has their own opinion of what our greatest moments are. Feel free to express your opinion.
I found this on Facebook and wanted to put it here to help the cause, I hope it's accepted in the right manner to which it is being offered........God Bless America!

A Mosque.........

At the risk of sounding like a biggot "which I am not", I oppose mosque building anywhere in the U S A!!! They have a country let them use it... Why is it that the other countries on this planet can't keep their people in it, if it was so bad in their country why do they come to our country and try to change the way we live, our rights as American's have been taken away because we have to be "politically correct" because we might offend someone!! I don't think there is any other country in the world that caters to American's the way we cater their people....

"An oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger."
- Confucius
The opposition to freedom is emboldened by a president and administration that use lies, distortions and propaganda to advance their illegitimate policies.

Obama Comes To Dallas

Air Force One is scheduled to touch down in Austin around noon. He is to arrive in Dallas around 3:30 p.m. and depart by 6:35 p.m. The president's first order of business will be a brief tarmac meeting in Austin with Republican Gov. Rick Perry, who has called him a socialist, criticized his spending policies, and sued to overturn the new health care law. They'll talk about border security. After an event focused on higher education at the University of Texas at Austin, Obama will fly to Dallas for a dinner at the Highland Park home of plaintiffs' lawyer Russell Budd. Dinner tickets range from $10,000 to $100,000. If Obama presses the point on Bush's home turf, only a select few will hear it. Proceeds from the Dallas dinner go to the Democrats' Senate campaign committee, which has collected $2.5 million from Texans this election – less than half the sum Cornyn's side has brought in, a reflection of Democrats' deficit in Texas.
Local Republicans have organized a demonstration featuring conservative radio host Mark Davis and Katrina Pierson, one of the nation's most visible tea party activists. The state GOP also is staging a rally at the Capitol.
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963, looms over all presidential visits to Dallas. But the city has a long history of the nation's commander in chief stopping by.

Israel & Lebanon Clash

Lebanese troops, Israeli soldier killed in border ...
Lebanese and Israeli troops traded fire along their tense border in the fiercest clashes since a 2006 war, with two Lebanese soldiers, a journalist and a senior Israeli officer killed.

Pulling Out

FILE - In this Tuesday, July 13, file 2010 photo, ...
U.S. Army soldiers from 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division are seen on board a C-17 aircraft at Baghdad International Airport as they begin their journey to the United States.  The move is reversing, over the course of months, a U.S. military presence that built up over seven years and dug in so deep it once seemed immovable. More than 400 bases are being closed down or handed over to the Iraqi military.

Isreal May Deport Illegals

Some Israelis complain that illegal migrants are taking jobs away from citizens. Others worry that the non-Jewish workers could upset the Jewish nature of the society.  Israel on Sunday approved new residency criteria that could result in the deportations of hundreds of children of migrant workers.  Under the decision, children of migrants whose parents entered Israel legally may remain if they are enrolled in school, speak Hebrew and have been here longer than five years.  An Israeli advocacy group, the Hotline for Migrant Workers, estimates 700 of 1,200 school-age children are at risk of deportation, along with their parents.
Oh my, another country who is tired of the same crap........!
