Recall on Meat?

It's happening again and this time the state I live in is one of the states to receive the meat.  I don't like the idea of always having to worry about what we eat.  How about you?  Does it bother you the way companies get away with this type of thing?  I'm ready for the local and state governments to do something to protect it's voters.  How about you?

My Orchid........

Recently I moved from my home into an apartment.  I took as many of my plants with me as I could and found different areas to place them.  It was in full bloom and now 2 months later the blooms are gone, leaving a long stalk guant and barron.  I almost killed it by putting it on the mantle where there was too much heat.  Then I tried to water it, and that only seemed to make the poor thing even sicker.  Several leaves turned yellow and I had to remove them.  I finally took it out of it container and separated the roots so they could dry out some.  I hope to salvage it, because I have kept it alive over 2 years, without killing it.

Iran Censured.........

A view of the conference room at the beginning of an Atomic ...
The conference room at the beginning of an Atomic Energy Agency IAEA board of governors meeting in Vienna November 26, 2009. The U.N. nuclear watchdog's governing body voted overwhelmingly on Friday to censure Iran for developing a uranium enrichment site in secret, and demanded it freeze the project immediately.
I'm sure they will let this thing escalate into another tense situation. Just what the world needs, another place to start a fight.

Could Become Extinct.......

Panda Fu Long, left, plays with his mother Yang Yang in the ...
China's giant panda could be extinct in just two to three generations as rapid economic development is infringing on its way of life. If the panda cannot mate with those from other habitats, it may face extinction within two to three generations.
The pandas' habitat is being split up into ever smaller patches, preventing the animals from roaming freely for mating partners and in turn endangering their gene pool. Risk of inbreeding is increasing, threatening to reduce the panda's resistance to diseases and lowering its ability to reproduce.

What Type Is It?

009.JPG About a year ago, I was in a Dairy Queen, and the people who owned the franchise, has several plants sitting on the window ledges. I saw some small plants that had taken root in the plants and ask for one. I brought it home and this is what it’s become. I have no idea what type of plant it is, but now it’s putting out of bunch of the little plants and it looks like I’ll have a large crop of these plants before long.
