Beach Cruisers......

I really need to get a bike and start riding to try and loose some weight. It would be fun to get out and cruise around the neighborhood. I've seen many people riding around the area parks, but if your lucky like many of the beach dwellers, then you need to find cheap beach cruisers for your extra fun. This website offers all styles, and price's with fast shipping. Since I'm a woman it would be great to get one built for my convenience. Some of the styles offered on the website, look almost like old styles from back in the 50's and 60's. If you would like to see the rest of their line of cruisers, click on the above link and shop around.

2 Bulletins Issued on Terrorism..........

Officials have issued security bulletins to police around the nation about terrorist interest in attacking stadiums, entertainment complexes and hotels, the latest in a flurry of such internal warnings as investigators chase a possible bomb plot in Denver and New York. Officials said they know of no specific plots against such sites, but urged law enforcement and private companies to be vigilant. These two bulletins followed on the heels of a similar warning about the vulnerabilities of mass transit systems.

The bulletin on stadiums notes that an al-Qaida training manual specifically lists "blasting and destroying the places of amusement, immorality, and sin... and attacking vital economic centers" as desired targets of the organization.

Federal agents on Wednesday searched the home of Zazi, a suburban Denver man identified by law enforcement as having a possible link to al-Qaida. Zazi has denied he's a central figure in a terrorism investigation that fed fears of a possible bomb plot and led to several police raids in New York City on Monday.

Republicans hold copies of their heath care proposals as U.S. President Barack Obama speaks about healthcare reform to a joint session of the U.S. Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, September 9, 2009.
Why are they saying that we will have to take out health insurance, even if we don't need it. Why would a country that's about "freedom", push to make it a law or get fined. This is something many American people can't afford. I know that I can't and I'm healthy, so why do I need health care coverage? Why should I have to pay for something I probably won't use?

It's About Time...........

US President Barack Obama's high-stakes health care speech ...
US President Barack Obama's high-stakes health care speech drew frequent eyerolls and scoffs from his Republican critics.
The night's defining moment — which Democrats hope to transform into a turning point – came when Rep. Joe Wilson shouted "You lie!" as Obama claimed his plan wouldn't offer free care to illegal immigrants. It also overshadowed a speech that included some of Obama's harshest attacks on his GOP critics to date. The president's combativeness, coupled with Wilson's behavior, clearly energized Democrats — to the point where few were in a mood to criticize Obama's lack of specifics or the fact that he offered no ironclad commitment to inserting a robust public option in the final legislation.
I'm so sure that we are in for a bunch of legislation, that we as the American people will not want or be able to afford.

Passengers hang on the port side of the "SuperFerry 9" before it sank in the coast off Zamboanga del Norte in southern Philippines September 6, 2009. More than 800 people were plucked from the sinking vessel in the southern Philippines on Sunday, but at least three were killed and 88 remained unaccounted for, the coastguard said.
A passenger said he felt the ferry tilting at about midnight but was assured by a crewman that everything was well. About two hours later, he was roused from sleep by the sound of crashing cargo below his cabin. There were reports the 7,268-ton vessel listed to the right because of a hole in the hull.
Our hearts go out to these people who are distressed and sad because of loss.

Fly The Flag........9/11

Let's get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America.

THE PROGRAM:

On Friday, September 11th, 2009, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this eighth anniversary of one of our country's worst tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds
Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.
Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.
Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America!
