Taking A Knee?

There's a lot of places to take a knee. Americans have given their lives all over the world. When you use the banner under which they fought as a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who bled for the very freedoms you have. That's what the red stripes mean. It represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your liberty.
While you're on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on a manicured lawn striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of ground taken...but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering forests and bitter cold mountains...every inch marked by an American life lost serving that flag you protest.

Wishy Washy

She's still mad...........

Those of you who thought it was "Ok" that the Dallas Cowboys pulled a fast one before the game last night...listen up!
I don't care if the Cowboys tried to "skirt" around the issue and change things up...they shouldn't be kneeling for a political cause at a football game. Besides...the NFL wouldn't let them put symbols on their helmets in support of the slain Dallas Police officers, so why in the hell are they letting them do this???!! It just makes me FURIOUS! They say they wanted to show "Unity"...uh...really??! So...let me get this straight, you want to show unity on this Black Lives Matter issue that's ginned up by the Soros crowd, but you couldn't show any kind of UNITY when your own Police officers were slain because of the idiots protesting in that BLM scenario? Stop using prayer as an excuse just to make you look good! Disgusting!
Oh yeah, and while we are on the subject of prayer…anybody remember Tim Tebow and how he was mocked and ridiculed for daring to kneel and pray on the field? Somehow now it’s “cool” because the Dallas Cowboys claim to be doing it as a sign of unity?
BYE-BYE "America's Team"

Another Person Offended

So many seem to have opinions about standing or kneeling during the national anthem. I am a US Military veteran. Even though I believe in freedom of speech I do NOT believe you have a right to disrespect the flag that is draped across my fallen brothers and sisters coffins and those that are given to families who have loved ones who never make it home. Say what you will, do what you will, but disrespect that flag in front of me and this sleeping old dog ain't gonna care what you are protesting.

I borrowed this from a Facebook post..........of another person who is tired of the crap.........

Not Fair

I am so sick of not being able to live in this country and enjoy life, without being taxed to death.  Seems, the government has a place for every penny we make, and we can't have any enjoyment because of it.  A working person shouldn't have to pay out his butt for health care insurance, when there's people sitting around our fair country living and getting everything given to them free.
There's no safe place for a healthy working man, who doesn't go to the doctor every time he sneezes.  How in the heal is he supposed to pay for heath insurance, when child support, utilities, car insurance, car payments, cost of living in general needs to be taken care of first?  It's just not fair to hit a person, with an extra $4000 or $5000 a year in insurance premiums, that he probably won't use but maybe once.  How do you justify this crap?  FAIR? HELL NO !

She's Had It

So...I have just had enough...I mean REALLY had enough! There is so much I want to say not only about the disgrace that is the NFL but the state of this country in general because of the lying scheming media and their unrelenting assault on our President! (Not to mention all the useless members of our congress and senate...and YES I mean Democrats & Republicans!) Never in my life would I have expected so much hatred spewed towards an American President with no real basis for that hatred. But, I am not going to go into all of that right now, because I am just SO fed up I am afraid of my temper getting the best of me! BUT...I am going to say this...for the first time EVER since I was a small child...I am going to PURPOSELY NOT WATCH my dearly loved Dallas Cowboys tonight! I never wanted to make this decision and never thought I'd have to. I have never personally seen any Dallas Cowboy take a knee or be disrespectful during our National Anthem, and from what I've heard Jerry Jones does not condone or allow such actions from his players or staff and for that I applaud him and hold him in high regard. However...the NFL does not respect our National Anthem (nor our Country for that matter) and unfortunately the Dallas Cowboys are under the NFL and subject to their rules and I just cannot in good faith continue to support any organization that has affiliations with them. At this point, I don't care if I EVER watch another football game in my life! For those of you who know me well, (especially those who I grew-up with in Texas) know what a BIG deal this is! In addition to refusing to watch ANY NFL football games, I also will boycott any company that has ties with them or advertises with them. I am starting my e-mail campaign today. Maybe it won't make a difference...I don't know...but it will make a difference to me and it's time we all take a stand, not only against the NFL but for our Country and all those who fought and died for the Freedoms that we so enjoy today, the same freedoms that allow these supposedly "oppressed" players to "take a knee" against America. There may be some on my friends list that do not agree and will want to argue this statement I have made, but please refrain from that here. I truly don't care what you have to say if you cannot stand for our Anthem, no matter what your cause might be. There are plenty of other ways to state your case and be heard and during the National Anthem at an NFL game is not the time or the place! If you feel the uncontrollable urge to post something in the comments here, it will probably be deleted, so it would be best if you get on your OWN Facebook page and state your position there...not here on my page. TA-TA NFL! Peace-out! #NFLBoycott
