Joe Decides Not to Run.........

In this photo, Joe Kennedy speaks at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, in Boston. Former Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II, son of Robert F. Kennedy, has decided not to seek the U.S. Senate seat held by his late uncle, Edward M. Kennedy.

A Dec. 8 primary will determine the nominees for the Senate seat, with a special election set for Jan. 19 to fill the remaining three years of Kennedy's term. When asked if they wished Kennedy’s widow, Victoria Reggie Kennedy, were running, 59 percent of all the poll’s respondents said no, 25 percent yes.
There's still 3 years left on Kennedy's term in office, which needs to be filled.
