US Withdrawing Troops.......

U.S. combat troops will be out of Iraqi cities by Tuesday June 30 in the first step toward winding down the American war effort by the end of 2011.

U.S. combat troops must withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30 according to a security agreement that also requires all American forces to leave the country by the end of 2011. Some Americans will remain in the cities as trainers and advisers, but the bulk of the more than 130,000 U.S. troops in Iraq have assembled in large bases outside urban centers.

Moving Vans......

I would suppose since it was a rent house, that the family would want to get his property out of there in case someone decided to loot and take prized possessions of the singer. It's possible much of the stuff may get sold or auctioned off, because of Michael's huge financial debts, yet unpaid. Still there are personal items, the family will want to keep and make every effort to preserve.

Jackson died reportedly awash in about $400 million in debt, on the cusp of a final comeback after well over a decade of scandal.

After years of living as a virtual recluse, Michael Jackson, who died on Thursday, had promised a comeback of typically blockbusting proportions with 50 shows in London starting next month. Excitement turned to mourning Friday for Michael Jackson fans awaiting London comeback shows due within weeks, as organizers contemplated insurance ramifications after the star's sudden death.
Condolences to all family, friends and co-workers. May they find the peace, comfort and strength needed to get through the coming days. Truly there will be plenty of news media infiltrating they world and lives. This is something these people have faced down through the years, because of their association with Michael.

Another Crisis About to Happen.....

More than 2 million people were uprooted by the fighting in Swat, an exodus international aid agencies say is threatening to become a humanitarian crisis.
This is just another situation, that has been caused by war............its' leaving many people homeless, and without sustainable needs, to survive. The world's relief organization funds are strained to the limit and there's no end in sight.

Obama On Father's Day

This is a story that he tells, about African American children..............he doesn't explain that more than just the black children are affected by this type of life. Naturally, he would talk about his own race. but he must also remember, that he is half white..........so, why is he not on our side as well? Our president is more biased...........and he needs to remember that we are the people..........that he represents.

Now, what human in their right mind wouldn't tell America that they couldn't go back to their country for fear of abuse and/or torture and death? I'd say this bill leaves too much area wide open for discussion........ :(

The Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, restrictions in the war funding bill would:

......Prohibit detainees from being released in the United States.

......Prevent prisoners being transferred to the United States, except to be prosecuted. Even then, a number of requirements would have to be met, including a plan showing the risks involved, the costs, the legal rationale and certification from the attorney general that the individual poses little or no security risk.

.......Stop detainees from being transferred or released to another country unless the president meets a separate set of requirements, including an assessment of risks posed and terms of the transfer agreement with the receiving country.

I've got a bad feeling about this one............and you should have one too.........

South Korea Patroling the Ocean........

South Korean Navy patrol boats engage in an exercise in the West Sea, South Kore. The U.S. and South Korea have pinpointed 11 underground sites in North Korea where it could conduct a third nuclear test, a newspaper reported on the communist regime's growing atomic threat.

The U.S. is monitoring the voyage of the North Korean-flagged Kang Nam, which left port in North Korea on Wednesday. It was traveling in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of China, and it is said it has been involved in weapons proliferation. This ship is among a group that is watched regularly but is the only one believed to have cargo that could potentially violate the U.N. resolution.
It is a scary situation and one we don't relish being in. War has been on our plates too long and we are tired of war. This type of war could be devastating too many nations, who get involved.

They Are Pushing.......

A South Korean protester displays portraits of American journalists detained in North Korea as they shout slogans during a rally at a public park in Seoul. North Korea's state news agency says the country's top court has convicted the two U.S. journalists and sentenced them to 12 years in labor prison. The Korean Central News Agency says the Central Court tried American journalists Laura Ling, right and Euna Lee, left. It said trial confirmed an unspecified 'grave crime' against the nation, and of illegally crossing into North Korea.
North Korea, is pushing the nation in every way possible. They are rejecting any negotiations or efforts on our nation's part to maintain peace. I realize that we are a great nation, who is envied by many other nations. We aren't wanting this horrible thing, that's being pushed upon us. Yet, we aren't able to accept the threats that we could be a target for a nuclear bomb. We can only pray that something good will happen to turn around these sets of events.

3 More Bodies Found......

It's been over a week since the crash happened and they are just now starting to find any debris. It's been a long haul for the families and friends, plus the people who have been working around the clock to find anything that would associate with the crash.

Obama Visits..........

Obama vowed Friday to seize the moment to advance Middle East peace, underlining the historic commitment to Israel with a solemn visit to a former Nazi camp. It is his hope to further peace through out these countries. He stopped to visit and observe the D-Day commerations while on his journey through Europe. It was noted that Obama's grandfather was involved in the war back during World War II.

Kung Fu Actor Found Dead....

A news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide. Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but they could not provide further details out of consideration for his family. Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot a movie and had been staying at the hotel since Tuesday. Carradine could not be contacted after he failed to appear for a meal with the rest of the film crew on Wednesday, and that his body was found by a hotel maid at 10 a.m. Thursday morning. Police investigation found that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the room’s curtains. It cited police as saying he had been dead at least 12 hours and there was no sign that he had been assaulted.

Our condolences go out to the Carradine family and their friends.

Familes Wait For Information.........

An Air France jet carrying 228 people from Rio de Janeiro to Paris is believed to have crashed into the Atlantic on Monday after suffering an electrical failure in a fierce storm.

Doctors, psychiatrists, and others health workers arrive from France to the hotel where Air France is assisting relatives of passengers of the missing Air France jet, in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's Air Force says it has found airplane seats and other debris floating in the Atlantic Ocean along the path that a missing Air France jet was flying.
It is said that this will be one of the largest loss of passengers, since 2001. Our hearts and prayers go out to these families and friends during this horrible time of sorrow.
