Got Lucky

 The people of Milford, Tx were very lucky yesterday, when this gas pipeline exploded nearby.  The Chevron company said that there were no injuries or casualities because of the accident.  A five man construction crew were working nearby and caused the explosion.  There will be a full investigation into the matter and details will be made known after it is completed.  

Several people were evacuated and school children were bused to the nearby schools in Italy, TX.  It may be that the people will be able to return to their homes as early as this morning.

He Received His Pay

Did you know that some lawmakers refused their pay during the government shutdown?  I say that's a noble thing to do.  But Obama didn’t, he elected to continue to receive his pay, which works out to about $7,600 per week.  This is actually only a small fraction of the income Obama typically receives. He also collects another income stream from a completely private source as well. It’s averaged him more than $16,000 per week over the past four years. He’ll likely never elect to stop receiving this pay either.
What is this private source exactly? And what has enabled him to collect all this cash?  It's probably his investments.......to mention the possible source........

Poor America

I find it very annoying to see how the government is making it's people suffer at the hands of what would be considered criminals.  It's truly sad to know that people who are trying to work are being treated so unfairly.  Here you have a government telling them that they have to do this and that, when if it weren't for these working people, the government wouldn't be in operation.  What's even worse is that this government will soon destroy the needed businesses that support the working class people.  What will we do with no income and nothing to eat?  You tell me how we will find the necessary means for our everyday lives?  The government will take it all from us in one way or another.  Shame on you, what the hell are you doing to us?

Wage Increase?

If the law makers ever come to an agreement, it seems we may be able to get a small increase in our checks.  I'm speaking for the many people who live on SS and disability year round.  They are telling us it that the "cost of living" percentage will be one of the lowest given to us.  I'm also sure that Medicare will go up just to take part of it back.  What do you think?

Shut Down

Here we go again with the government taking a step back from their responsibilities to the "people" who elected them.  I for one am tired of all the crap these people are getting us into.  Why can't we just live by the rules that were set down for us many years ago?  Truly those people had better sense than the one's who are running our government now.  It's a shame that certain Federal buildings and monuments are closed.  Many people are on furlough as well from their jobs.  How is this supposed to help the people that they are trying to govern?  Very sad, I surmise..........

Fed Clearance?

Now just how long does it take "red tape" to be processed?  I guess if you work in Washington DC the process is endless.  So, now you see what happens to "would be" terrorists " listed in the security systems computers.  This is one more time that we have evidence the "red tape" of all offices involved making it a slow process of action.  Isn't it very possible that this person "knew" this and acted before his "clearance" could be revoked?  How sad that all the injuries and loss of lives had to happen because of this "due process".

Navy Ship Yard in DC

Latest reports give details about the shootings at the Washington DC Naval Ship Yard, where it is now up to 12 dead including one of the shooters.  Many local area schools and other government buildings were on "lock down", while investigations were happening. 
This is just another of many senseless killings happening this year.  I wonder how people consider these ideas to be a valid of handling a situation beyond their control.  So, many lives have been lost and many injuries have occurred because of these idiots who try to take matters into their own hands.  Yes, they have had a loss, and maybe they felt cheated, but it's not the other people they harm who have caused this.  This is a shameful thing for someone to do.  I hope something will happen to stop this endless violence against our own people. 
Our condolences go out to the people who have lost family members and to those who have been injured because of this rampage.  God help us all!

Here We Go Again

Just how many more times are we going to go and get into other people's business?  Syria, is in conflict and I understand that bad things are happening.  America, keeps getting into all this war games and coming out on the rough end of the deal.  Our soldiers suffer and loose their lives during these wars and we are only trying to help.  Many of these nations hate our country and yet we help them?  WTF?

Sad Note

It's  believed the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of   democracy, with some forty  percent of the nation's population already having reached the  "governmental dependency" phase.
