Convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset al-Megrahi kisses the hand of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in Tripoli in this August 21, 2009. Gaddafi hugged the convicted Lockerbie bomber and promised more cooperation with Britain in gratitude for his release, while London and Washington condemned his "hero's welcome" home. Meeting Megrahi and his family late on Friday, Gaddafi thanked British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Queen Elizabeth for "encouraging" Scotland to release the dying prisoner from a Scottish jail.
What is this world coming to? Our prison's are full of terminally ill inmates, and they aren't getting free. How the hell, can these horrible people get out of prison..........oh, I forgot about the "Manson" woman that we just freed because of her health.........I'm afraid there will be more, that will try this approach........ouch!
