U.S. transit agencies beefed up security as a precaution Monday following the suicide bombing in Moscow's subway system, sending more police into stations and having officers conduct random inspections of rail yards.
In New York, caravans of police vehicles were dispatched to transit hubs, and officers assigned to subways overnight were held in place so they overlapped with the day tour. Special units distinguished by their special black uniforms, helmets and body armor also were assigned to transit facilities.

Mad As Hell.........
If you thought Tea Party activists were mad before, you ain't seen nothing yet. "We're not going to stop. Obviously, the whole tea party movement started because we're about smaller government and less spending and less taxes. There is absolutely no way we can pay for this," said Denise Cattoni, state coordinator for Illinois Tea Party, an umbrella group for about 50 groups from around Illinois.
Within hours of its passage, conservative commentators Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh — darlings of the tea party movement — were venting their anger, vowing a bloodbath at the polls on Election Day.
"We need to defeat these bastards. We need to wipe them out," Limbaugh said. "We need to chase them out of town. But we need to do more than that. We need to elect conservatives. If there are Republican primaries, elect conservatives and then defeat the Democrats — every last one of them — and then we start the repeal process."

Obama Signed Bill.........
The ceremony established the biggest new social program since President Lyndon Johnson signed the Medicare act into law in 1965 — and arguably since the Social Security Act arrived on Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s desk in 1935.
The ceremony, while historic, won’t mark the final enactment of the health care package. That will probably happen sometime next week, after the Senate approves the companion bill of proposed House “fixes” to the underlying legislation being signed into law today. Since the Senate only needs a 51-vote majority, the House’s “reconciled” bill is widely expected to win easy passage in the chamber.
I want to see how well, he does with the next vote.....

Break Your Glasses?
It's hard to keep active children from loosing or breaking their glasses. The parents are constantly, looking for ways to combat this problem. It seems that the economy has caused parents to find ways to cut back on certain items in order to provide a quality life for their families.
I wear glasses and look for a good economical place to get a great deal for my money. I live on a fixed income and that makes it necessary to control my spending. This means that there are times, I will need to make do with what I have and wait until the next paycheck.
Have you ever worn, broken taped glasses, until you could get another pair? I found myself down on the floor several times, looking for one of my lens that had fallen out. I was so blind with even one lens missing. This has been a frequent happening, for my child, because of the roughness he gets into. I wouldn't be able to afford a new pair because of the prices, so we would need to wait until I could find the extra cash in our budget. I would like to find a more affordable place to obtain them for this football player in my family.

Now You've Got A Bill.......
Companies that hire unemployed workers will get a temporary payroll tax holiday under a bill that easily won final congressional approval Wednesday. It will be the first of several election-year jobs bills promised by Democrats to be enacted into law, though there's plenty of skepticism that the measure will do much to actually create jobs. It also extends highway and mass transit programs through the end of the year and pump in $20 billion in time for the spring construction season. That money would make up for lower-than-expected gasoline tax revenues.
Yet, we still have the effects of companies, not having available openings, and then there's the unemployed aliens, that will try to scarf up as many of these positions, as it's possible.

Saving Home Energy......
The government is trying to get the message across that we are needing to be more green, with our ways of living. Certain amounts of pollution, are released into the atmosphere, daily through certain forms of processing that companies have and by our vehicles. They are suggesting and even advocating the fact of using Energy saving appliances and other techniques to conserve our supplies of energy. They are telling you to use certain home appliances which are set up to utilize the energy better and save you money in the long run. They also tell you how to remodel your homes and businesses in order to conserve energy. Everything from using storm windows, to weather proofing you doors and windows that have cracks or spaces, where the foundation has shifted to conserve your home energy.
I found that doing a few simple repairs, can help and give you the needed cut in your monthly bills. Like installing a tank less water heater, lowering your ceilings, installing insulation in your attic and walls or using those bulbs that are energy efficient. I’ve heard some pro’s and con’s of those type of light bulbs, but I suppose the government wouldn’t allow production or sales on such products if they were harmful.
By recycling we can also aid in controlling the emissions of certain green house type gases that can cause our environment’s ozone layer to heat up.
If you are interested in getting an estimate on the things needed to upgrade your home or business you can contact a good company whose main object is to give you good customer service. If you live in my local area, which is the Dallas TX suburban areas, then you will be able to find exactly the help you need. Information can be obtained by clicking on the above link or contacting the company by phone.

March Madness.........
With time and tempers short, everyone's playing hardball in the drive to pass — or stop — President Barack Obama's massive health care legislation by the weekend.
Business groups are spending $1 million a day to depict the bill as a job killer in television ads in the home districts of 26 wavering House Democrats. A new ad barrage from supporters of the legislation went up Tuesday in 11 districts, some overlapping. And unions are threatening some of those lawmakers to come through for Obama — or pay the price in the fall elections.

Pakistan Test Missile..........
A Pakistan Navy frigate launches a test missile to its target in the Arabian Sea in Pakistan Friday, March 12, 2010. The navy successfully test-fired a series of missiles and torpedoes Friday in what it called a message to 'nefarious' forces, an apparent reference to longtime rival India.

So Now It's Something Else
Reconciliation is a part of the federal budget process in which debate in the Senate is limited and only a simple majority of 51 votes is needed to pass a bill. Democrats hope to use the limited debate and lower threshold of 51 votes for passage to avoid a Republican filibuster. Under normal circumstances, the opposition can stop a bill with a filibuster. Only when the bills from each chamber match can President Obama sign health care reform into law.

Al-Qaida Spokesman.........
In a 25-minute video posted on militant Web sites, Adam Gadahn described Maj. Nidal Hasan as a pioneer who should serve as a role model for other Muslims, especially those serving Western militaries. Al-Qaida's American-born spokesman on Sunday called on Muslims serving in the U.S. armed forces to emulate the Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood.
Gadahn grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, California, and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County.
"You shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that military bases are the only high-value targets in America and the West. On the contrary, there are countless other strategic places, institutions and installations which, by striking, the Muslim can do major damage," he said. He has in the past posted videos and messages calling for the destruction of the West and for strikes against targets in the United States. His location is unknown, but he is believed to be somewhere along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
It just keeps coming and we the American people are becoming weary of the crap. Not only do we have to be on the alert, we find that the very people who we have help or tried to help the past times, are rising up against the very nation who was there to assist them. Go figure!

Need Auto Repairs
If you own a vehicle and have driven it very long, there comes a time when certain parts wear out. One of those, that I hate is the darn water pump and it's not a funny thing to experience. Have you ever had those awful sounds coming from your vehicle and found a bunch of steam coming from under the hood? I've been on the side of the road with hot water coming out under the front of my car. Believe me, this car is not going much farther down that road.
My friend lives in Chicago and recently, found her Toyota Corolla in need of repairs. It was going down hill fast and being her only transportation, she needed help. I told her to try and find a Chicago auto repair shop there in her area. She grabbed her phone book and started looking for the 1st available repair shop. This girl doesn't have the slightest idea about how to find a reliable repair shop. I emailed her to look at the online listings, and get more than one estimate. I'm glad she listened to me, because she will be able to afford the quotes from the one place she decided to employ. I know they will help her, because they offer customer satisfaction on all their work.

Military Help in Chile
Military personnel set up a field hospital where earthquake victims will be treated after a major earthquake and ensuing tsunami in Talca, March 3, 2010. Four days after the 8.8-magnitude earthquake killed around 800 people in south-central Chile, rescue crews with sniffer dogs fanned out around Chile's ravaged cities and villages, searching for survivors inside the mountains of rubble, while police and troops have managed to quell looting and violence in the largest cities.

Soldiers download aid from a boat to be distribute among earthquake victims in Iloca, Chile, Wednesday, March 3 , 2010. The government deployed thousands of army and navy troops throughout the country's central coastal region, that was hit by an earthquake on Feb. 27, to contain looting and clear the way for aid to be distributed.
More Drones.........
The appetite for drone aircraft stems not only from the planes' ability to conduct airstrikes on terrorist targets and provide surveillance imagery for intelligence experts to hunt insurgents or those who plant roadside bombs, but also from unexpected uses.
Drone aircraft, also known as "unmanned aerial vehicles," are popular among commanders who want to know more about a specific area in Afghanistan or Iraq in which they are operating. By capturing images, the drones help soldiers determine how many houses there have power, for example, or where roads are, and other “quality of life” data.
