Protesters shout slogans during an anti-war and anti-government rally in Seoul December 18, 2010. South Korea will hold a live-fire artillery drill on Yeonpyeong island between December 18-21, which was shelled by North Korea last month, the first such exercise on the island since the attack that the North said was a response to a provocation by Seoul.

Court to hear arguments

The employer sanctions law was intended to diminish Arizona's role as the nation's hub for immigrant smuggling by requiring employers to verify the eligibility of new workers through a federal database. Employers convicted of violating the law can have their business licenses suspended or revoked.  The outcome in this case also could signal how the court would handle the controversial and more expansive Arizona immigration enforcement law, known as SB1070, that the administration challenged and a federal judge blocked key components this summer.
Dozens of business raids in metropolitan Phoenix during employer sanctions investigations have led to the arrests of 131 workers who are illegal immigrants on criminal charges, such as using forged documents or stolen identities to get jobs. The law intended to target employers has been used more often against workers.

Aung San Suu Kyi

Suu Kyi, who was freed from house arrest Saturday amid a divided political landscape and days after widely criticized elections, made clear she faces a precarious position: maneuvering between the expectations of the country's pro-democracy movement and the realities of dealing with a clique of secretive generals who have kept her locked up for much of the past two decades.

State lawmakers preparing citizenship legislation

The efforts by the state legislators come amid calls to change the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment, which grants automatic citizenship to U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants. Supporters cite costs to taxpayers for services provided to illegal immigrants and their children.  lawmakers in at least 12 other states besides Arizona and Pennsylvania said they were making their own announcements about working on the citizenship legislation. Those other states: Alabama, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. Legislators from a total of 41 states are involved in a Metcalfe-founded group concerned with immigration issues.  "We're going to address the issue of the unconstitutional declaration of citizenship to those born to non-citizens, "It is a violation of the 14th Amendment."

USS Cole

The lack of U.S. response to the Cole attack — under both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush — has re-emerged as a painful issue this week, as crew and family members gather at the U.S. naval base in Norfolk, Va., to mark the 10th anniversary of the bombing, which killed 17 U.S. sailors and injured 38.  Newly declassified documents show the frustrations of top White House counterterrorism officials over the U.S. failure to respond to al-Qaida’s October 2000 bombing of the USS Cole despite evidence that Osama bin Laden was reading poetry about the murderous attack and publicly taking credit for it.
At 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 12, 2000, the Cole — a billion dollar destroyer armed with the most advanced weapons in the U.S. naval arsenal — was docked off the coast of Yemen for refueling when it was approached by a small skiff packed with explosives and manned by two suicide bombers. The resulting explosion was a chilling precursor to the attacks on Sept. 11. It ripped a 60-by-40-foot hole in the ship’s hull, trapping the bodies of many of the dead crew members in the wreckage.
My son, served in the Navy and I remember the times, that I would worry for his safety, when he would be on a tour of duty.  My heart goes out to these families and friends of the USS Cole...........

What?

Candidates are getting the message. Republicans called for a spending freeze in the party's recently released "Pledge to America," and President Obama is making budget control part of his message as he stumps for congressional candidates.  Maybe it's human nature to look for something — or someone — to blame when circumstances get difficult. But it doesn't make the solutions any easier. The other reality is that if you want to balance the federal budget, the ways you do that are very unpalatable to most people.  Anger is something of a constant in American politics and circumstances like high unemployment and a big, getting bigger deficit can heighten it. People are frustrated with the economy, frustrated that we're in two wars, frustrated that we can't seem to get out of this situation. American's are going to send a message in November.

A Mosque.........

At the risk of sounding like a biggot "which I am not", I oppose mosque building anywhere in the U S A!!! They have a country let them use it... Why is it that the other countries on this planet can't keep their people in it, if it was so bad in their country why do they come to our country and try to change the way we live, our rights as American's have been taken away because we have to be "politically correct" because we might offend someone!! I don't think there is any other country in the world that caters to American's the way we cater their people....

Obama Comes To Dallas

Air Force One is scheduled to touch down in Austin around noon. He is to arrive in Dallas around 3:30 p.m. and depart by 6:35 p.m. The president's first order of business will be a brief tarmac meeting in Austin with Republican Gov. Rick Perry, who has called him a socialist, criticized his spending policies, and sued to overturn the new health care law. They'll talk about border security. After an event focused on higher education at the University of Texas at Austin, Obama will fly to Dallas for a dinner at the Highland Park home of plaintiffs' lawyer Russell Budd. Dinner tickets range from $10,000 to $100,000. If Obama presses the point on Bush's home turf, only a select few will hear it. Proceeds from the Dallas dinner go to the Democrats' Senate campaign committee, which has collected $2.5 million from Texans this election – less than half the sum Cornyn's side has brought in, a reflection of Democrats' deficit in Texas.
Local Republicans have organized a demonstration featuring conservative radio host Mark Davis and Katrina Pierson, one of the nation's most visible tea party activists. The state GOP also is staging a rally at the Capitol.
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963, looms over all presidential visits to Dallas. But the city has a long history of the nation's commander in chief stopping by.

Isreal May Deport Illegals

Some Israelis complain that illegal migrants are taking jobs away from citizens. Others worry that the non-Jewish workers could upset the Jewish nature of the society.  Israel on Sunday approved new residency criteria that could result in the deportations of hundreds of children of migrant workers.  Under the decision, children of migrants whose parents entered Israel legally may remain if they are enrolled in school, speak Hebrew and have been here longer than five years.  An Israeli advocacy group, the Hotline for Migrant Workers, estimates 700 of 1,200 school-age children are at risk of deportation, along with their parents.

Obama To Miss Jamboree

President Obama will make history as the first sitting president on a daytime talk show when he sits down with the ladies of The View. But he'll also be missing out on another historic occasion -- the Boy Scouts' Jamboree marking the group's 100th anniversary, right in the president's backyard.  Of course he doesn't understand patriotism, honor, and values the Scouts are known for. Add this to canceling the National day of Prayer at the White House. What a joke he is as president. Maybe the View will hire him as the only male on their panel!

Space Shuttle Lay Off's

The Houston-based United Space Alliance is a partnership between Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin that has operated the space shuttle fleet for NASA since 1995.  About 902 layoff notices were issued to USA workers in Florida, which is home to NASA's Kennedy space Center in Cape Canaveral that serves as both launch site and home port for the agency's three shuttles. Another 478 layoffs were issued for Texas, which is home to NASA's shuttle mission operations, with 14 more in Alabama, where NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center is based. NASA's space shuttle fleet is set to retire next year after 30 years of launching astronauts into low-Earth orbit. The shuttles began flying in 1981 and have flown on 132 missions so far.

France Declares War

France has declared war on al-Qaida, and matched its fighting words with a first attack on a base camp of the terror network's North African branch, after the terror network killed a French aid worker it took hostage in April. The humanitarian worker had been abducted April 20 or 22 in Niger by al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, and was later taken to Mali.
The declaration and attack marked a shift in strategy for France, usually discrete about its behind-the-scenes battle against terrorism.  The Salafist Group for Call and Combat formally merged with al-Qaida in 2006 and spread through the Sahel region — parts of Mauritania, Mali and Niger. Officials suggest France will activate accords with these countries to stop the terrorists in their tracks.

North Korea Threatens

Clinton on Wednesday unveiled new U.S. sanctions against North Korea, blamed by both Washington and Seoul for the March sinking of a South Korean warship which killed 46 sailors and sharpened tensions over Pyongyang's nuclear programme. Clinton said it was essential Asian nations enforce the punitive measures to encourage North Korea "to take the steps it must" to stop nuclear development and seek real peace with South Korea.

The new U.S. sanctions target North Korea's ruling elite and build on earlier United Nations sanctions which imposed broad curbs on dealings with the North in hopes of persuading it to abandon its atomic ambitions. A North Korean diplomat  said the sanctions and plans for U.S. and South Korean large-scale joint military drills would be met with a "physical response."
It has also said it is concerned by reports that Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, is seeking North Korean help to develop its own nuclear programme, which, if true, could open an alarming new front in the battle against global proliferation.

No Veils........

France's lower house of parliament overwhelmingly approved a ban on wearing burqa-style Islamic veils Tuesday, part of a concerted effort to define and protect French values that has disconcerted many in the country's large Muslim community.
Proponents of the law say face-covering veils don't square with the French ideal of women's equality or its secular tradition. The bill is controversial abroad but popular in France, where its relatively few outspoken critics say conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy has resorted to xenophobia to attract far-right voters.

The left in this country will do anything to tear down a decent man who they disagree with. George W Bush never played politics or sought to defend himself publicly. Unfortunately the vast majority of people listen to our left wing media and cannot think or reason for themselves. As time goes on he will be more and more appreciated.

With BBC America on Satellite TV, I Can Travel Through Time and Space

Guest Post by Monica Sanders
As an American fan of the long-running British science-fiction series "Doctor Who", I have plenty of experience waiting for new episodes of my favorite show. In the days before I got one of the cable tv deals in Illinois, it would often take years for episodes of this exciting UK series to get released on DVD or play on television here in the States.
With BBC America, however, new episodes of this manic, magical show regularly air in the U.S. just a week or two after they've premiered in England. Even at the ripe old age of 39, I still feel like a giddy kid every time I sit down in front of the television to watch the latest time-traveling, planet-hopping exploits of the 900-year-old Time Lord and his human companions. Thanks to this great channel, my living room plays host to Daleks, Cybermen, and all manner of other evil alien menaces every Saturday evening, and I never have to worry about stumbling across spoilers on the internet. I get to watch the latest machinations of these malevolent monsters shortly after fans on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean first see them.
As a sci-fi nerd, there's something poetic and immensely satisfying about getting the newest episodes of my favorite show via space age technology. A signal beamed through an orbiting satellite and straight into my TV set lets me travel through time and space with the Doctor and his friends. It's like my television set is my own personal TARDIS time machine which, thanks to BBC America, always takes me exactly where I want to go!

and having ‘God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Redneck?

It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home, family, country and God. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those.
You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, 'One nation under God.' You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places. You might be a redneck if: You still say 'Christmas' instead of 'Winter Festival.' You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays. You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem. You might be a redneck if: You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have. You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag, nor intend to. You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening. You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same. You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

Zenni Optical

To get prescription eyeglasses from local optician,  there are easier and smarter ways to get stylish and attractive prescription eyeglass buy shopping at the best online eyeglass store. There may be various online eyeglass stores out there in web offering prescription eyeglass at different prices. The unique feature of Zenni Optical eyeglasses store is that they offer unique, stylish and attractive eyeglass for users with perfect P.D measurement provided by the user. The PD or Pupillary Distance is the distance between the pupils of the eyes, center to center, in millimeters.  So, eye care professionals in the market prefer users to select their eyeglass with P.D measurement as they eliminate side effects and eye sight problems.  Most Optician don't want to give you your PD and that makes me unsure of why they do it.  Maybe it is their way of protecting the market of their companies?  Either way that is leaving the eyeglass makers at a disadvantage when dealing with the public prescriptions.  If your interested in what eye care professionals say about getting P.D? Then just check out the following link for more information and clarification of P.D http://www.optiboard.com/forums/showthread.php/40851-Got-Asked-for-a-PD-Today-(First-Time)?highlight=zenni .

Another Dig........

Obama said bluntly that Gen. Stanley McChrystal's scornful remarks about administration officials represent conduct that "undermines the civilian control of the military that is at the core of our democratic system." He ousted the commander after a face to face meeting in the Oval Office and named Petraeus, the Central Command chief who was McChrystal's direct boss, to step in.  He urged the Senate to confirm Petraeus swiftly and emphasized the Afghanistan strategy he announced in December was not shifting with McChrystal's departure.

Al-Qaida's U.S.-born spokesman warned President Barack Obama Sunday that the militant group may launch new attacks that would kill more Americans than previous ones.
In a taunting, 24 minute message that dwelled on Obama's setbacks, including the loss of Massachusetts Senate seat to the Republicans, Adam Gadahn set out al-Qaida's conditions for peace with the U.S., including cutting support for Israel and withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

Military to Leave.......

The U.S. military announced the end of major relief operations in Haiti on Tuesday, nearly five months after the country's devastating January 12 earthquake.  The troops helped to distribute food and keep the peace after the quake, which killed more than 300,000 people, according to Haitian government estimates.
Many Haitians are still in desperate need of shelter in the aftermath of the quake, a situation that threatens to get worse with Tuesday's start of the Atlantic hurricane season.

Auto Insurance

Buying auto insurance, is a complex thing and takes a lot of effort to understand exactly what is needed or the legalities of it all.  If you insure more that one vehicle, then your rates are going to be much higher.  Liability, is considered to be the necessary form of insurance in most states.  As you know this is only accepted if your vehicle is paid for.  A new car, truck or other vehicles, most have full coverage, and that's what makes the rates so high.
When the deductible is high, that helps the rated to be more affordable.  You have to remember that when and if something really happens to cause you to make a claim, then you will need to be responsible for that deductible.  This is where some people have a very hard time affording auto insurance, and getting their vehicle repaired.  Deductibles, are hard to produce, in the event of an accident.  Family budgets are not equipped with out of pocket expenses, such as these.  Look around different companies, and shop for the coverage that will assist you in your time of need. auto insurance

In the Congo, a demented Christian cult called the Lord's Resistance Army has been kidnapping children and forcing them to commit acts of genocide, often against members of their own family, so they will be too ashamed to leave the group or return to their families.  The young woman with the hacked-off lips and stitches where one ear used to be shakes her head when asked why rebels did this to her, then whispers that the attackers who came from across the river were angry because she kept crying for mercy and calling on God for help.

Private Felix Longoria, who died in combat in the Philippines during World War II. When his body returned to Three Rivers, Texas, the funeral director prohibited services at the cemetery because local whites "wouldn't like it." Texas Sen. Lyndon Johnson intervened and Longoria received a funeral with full honors at Arlington National Cemetery Feb. 16, 1949.

Women On Subs.........

The cramped quarters and scant privacy aboard submarines, combined with long tours of up to 90 days at sea, kept them off-limits to female sailors for 16 years.  The first U.S. women allowed to serve aboard submarines will be reporting for duty by 2012.  There were some protests, particularly from wives of sub sailors, after the military began formulating a plan last fall.

November publication date for George W. Bush ...
Written off as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history when he left office, the 63-year-old Bush has been keeping a low profile, fading from view as the country turned its attention to his successor.  "His loyalists have always believed that history would be much kinder to the president than public opinion was during his term. We also believe that leaders who make tough decisions are rarely popular when they're president, but that history puts things into context."
I've always been proud of him and will continue to do so........

Living Next Door

Zarein Ahmedzay said in court in Brooklyn that he had received orders from leaders of the al-Qaida terrorist network to carry out the foiled plot in September 2009 to bomb Manhattan subway lines. He also pleaded guilty to providing material support to al-Qaida.
Authorities say he joined admitted al-Qaida associate Najibullah Zazi and another friend from their Queens high school on a trip to Pakistan in 2008 to seek terrorism training.

America's Beliefs.......

It is very upsetting that Comedy Central is forced to censor the new episode of South Park because of threats made by RevoultionMuslim.com. I guess the lesson learned here is that if you don't like what somebody is saying or doing, you can threaten them with violence, beheadings or bombings. I would like to see how the FBI handles this, or if they have the guts to get involved.
A radical Islamic website is warning the creators of South Park that they could face violent retribution for depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode broadcast on Comedy Central last week.
It's just not right for these people to come in here and reek such havoc on our American cultures and religions.

Grenades Hit........

Hundreds of troops, many armed with M-16 assault rifles, have poured into the area since Monday to stop anti-government protesters who have formed a barricade at an intersection leading into the bustling district also known for racy go-go bars. Five explosions hit the area packed with heavily armed troops and studded with banks, office towers and hotels, seriously wounding at least four people.

Floor Plans.......

People who choose to buy a home can go to certain housing projects and connect with the dealer listed on the property sites.  They will take you to the on site locations, and show you the many floor plans they are offering in their home groups.  You may visit several home groups, directed with certain types of themes to give a flavor to the atmosphere of the neighborhood.  These homes, can be constructed in several different designs and materials.  Their accents are the major theme of the on site neighborhood.  I found that developers like this give you only a limited set of  house designs  and floor plans to choose from.
We look for economical pricing in homes these days, because of the financial situations we find ourselves in.  Developers, will erect model homes, for your viewing and supply floor plans along with the amenities installed.  As you view the models, they hope you will find a certain floor plan that they already have developed.  This is why it is so important to view more than one on site location, to get an idea of the style of home you would like to have built.

Poll Shows.......

Americans oppose the health care remake 50 percent to 39 percent. Before a divided Congress finally passed the bill and Obama signed it at a jubilant White House  ceremony last month, public opinion was about evenly split. Another 10 percent of Americans say they are neutral.  Opposition to President Barack Obama's health care law jumped after he signed it — a warning to Democrats running for re-election this fall that his victory could become their liability.

This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card. 2) 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. 3) 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens. *Facts published by L.A. True...........

"If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?" --James Orengo, Kenyan Minister of Lands and member of Parliament for the Ugenya constituency.

Nuclear Production

All my life, I've been wary of what this type of problem could mean and what could happen should things get out of hand.  I've lived through the "Pearl Harbor", "World War II", "Vietnam" eras and knew that at anytime, we could face this kind of disaster.  Then when 911 hit, it became evident that the real world was once again at risk for terrorists attacks and we were their main target, most of the time.  I do hope that somehow, within these governments' powers, they can control this horrific problem.  I wouldn't want to see devastation such as this type of attack could bring.

Gingrich Slams Obama......

Gingrich has not declared his intentions for 2012, but his appearances in New Orleans had all the trappings of a fledging presidential campaign, from an intimate meeting with tea party activists — his staff photographer took grip-and-grin pictures of Gingrich posing with every activist — to his wade-through-the-crowd entrance at the GOP conference, with the thumping beat of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" drawing the crowd to its feet.
He said Obama's policies — particularly health care and economic stimulus legislation — have put the United States on the road to socialism. The former speaker did not specifically explain why he thought Obama is a secularist, though he did say the GOP wasn't afraid of recognizing faith's role in American society.

How Much........

Is there too much of any one thing that causes this problem to happen?  I believe that whatever the system creates, will be questioned by some.  It's not easy to accept change, and many will still fight it after it's well enacted.  I can't see how this is all going to work for the better good?  Truly, I haven't seen what all the details are to this new health care bill.  I'm sure it would probably take a considerable effort to read and comprehend it all.  I know there would be something I would not understand, or possibly miss.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed to the fact that it doesn't get too out of hand.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks about health care reform during a news conference after she spoke to the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, Tuesday, April 6, 2010.  The FBI arrested a northern California man Wednesday for allegedly making threatening phone calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over health care reform.  The man made dozens of calls to Pelosi's homes in California and Washington, as well as to her husband's business office. They said he recited her home address and said if she wanted to see it again, she would not support the health care overhaul bill that since has been enacted.  Charges against the man have yet to be disclosed, but they are expected to be filed in federal court in California.

New Policy Unveiled.........

Obama's revamped strategy is likely to draw criticism from conservatives who say his approach could compromise U.S. national security and disappoint liberals who wanted the president to go further on arms control.
Under the revamped policy, the United States for the first time is forswearing use of atomic weapons against non-nuclear countries, a break with a Bush-era threat of nuclear retaliation in the event of a biological or chemical attack.
But the new strategy comes with a major condition that the countries will be spared a U.S. nuclear response only if they are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. That loophole means Iran and North Korea would not be protected.
The review is a test of Obama's effort to make controlling nuclear arms worldwide a signature foreign policy initiative. It is also important because it will affect defense budgets and weapons deployment and retirement for years to come.

Security Beefed Up........

U.S. transit agencies beefed up security as a precaution Monday following the suicide bombing in Moscow's subway system, sending more police into stations and having officers conduct random inspections of rail yards.
In New York, caravans of police vehicles were dispatched to transit hubs, and officers assigned to subways overnight were held in place so they overlapped with the day tour. Special units distinguished by their special black uniforms, helmets and body armor also were assigned to transit facilities.

Mad As Hell.........

If you thought Tea Party activists were mad before, you ain't seen nothing yet.  "We're not going to stop. Obviously, the whole tea party movement started because we're about smaller government and less spending and less taxes. There is absolutely no way we can pay for this," said Denise Cattoni, state coordinator for Illinois Tea Party, an umbrella group for about 50 groups from around Illinois.
Within hours of its passage, conservative commentators Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh — darlings of the tea party movement — were venting their anger, vowing a bloodbath at the polls on Election Day.
"We need to defeat these bastards. We need to wipe them out," Limbaugh said. "We need to chase them out of town. But we need to do more than that. We need to elect conservatives. If there are Republican primaries, elect conservatives and then defeat the Democrats — every last one of them — and then we start the repeal process."

Obama Signed Bill.........

The ceremony established the biggest new social program since President Lyndon Johnson signed the Medicare act into law in 1965 — and arguably since the Social Security Act arrived on Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s desk in 1935.
The ceremony, while historic, won’t mark the final enactment of the health care package. That will probably happen sometime next week, after the Senate approves the companion bill of proposed House “fixes” to the underlying legislation being signed into law today. Since the Senate only needs a 51-vote majority, the House’s  “reconciled” bill is widely expected to win easy passage in the chamber.
I want to see how well, he does with the next vote.....

Break Your Glasses?

It's hard to keep active children from loosing or breaking their glasses. The parents are constantly, looking for ways to combat this problem.  It seems that the economy has caused parents to find ways to cut back on certain items in order to provide a quality life for their families.
I wear glasses and look for a good economical place to get a great deal for my money.  I live on a fixed income and that makes it necessary to control my spending.  This means that there are times, I will need to make do with what I have and wait until the next paycheck.
Have you ever worn, broken taped glasses, until you could get another pair?  I found myself down on the floor several times, looking for one of my lens that had fallen out.  I was so blind with even one lens missing. This has been a frequent happening, for my child, because of the roughness he gets into.  I wouldn't be able to afford a new pair because of the prices, so we would need to wait until I could find the extra cash in our budget.  I would like to find a more affordable place to obtain them for this football player in my family.

Now You've Got A Bill.......

Companies that hire unemployed workers will get a temporary payroll tax holiday under a bill that easily won final congressional approval Wednesday.  It will be the first of several election-year jobs bills promised by Democrats to be enacted into law, though there's plenty of skepticism that the measure will do much to actually create jobs.  It also extends highway and mass transit programs through the end of the year and pump in $20 billion in time for the spring construction season. That money would make up for lower-than-expected gasoline tax revenues.
Yet, we still have the effects of companies, not having available openings, and then there's the unemployed aliens, that will try to scarf up as many of these positions, as it's possible.

Saving Home Energy......

The government is trying to get the message across that we are needing to be more green, with our ways of living.  Certain amounts of pollution, are released into the atmosphere, daily through certain forms of processing that companies have and by our vehicles.  They are suggesting and even advocating the fact of using Energy saving  appliances and other techniques to conserve our supplies of energy.  They are telling you to use certain home appliances which are set up to utilize the energy better and save you money in the long run.  They also tell you how to remodel your homes and businesses in order to conserve energy.  Everything from using storm windows, to weather proofing you doors and windows that have cracks or spaces, where the foundation has shifted to conserve your home energy.
I found that doing a few simple repairs, can help and give you the needed cut in your monthly bills.  Like installing a tank less water heater, lowering your ceilings, installing insulation in your attic and walls or using those bulbs that are energy efficient.  I’ve heard some pro’s and con’s of those type of light bulbs, but I suppose the government wouldn’t allow production or sales on such products if they were harmful.
By recycling we can also aid in controlling the emissions of certain green house type gases that can cause our environment’s ozone layer to heat up.
If you are interested in getting an estimate on the things needed to upgrade your home or business you can contact a good company whose main object is to give you good customer service.  If you live in my local area, which is the Dallas TX suburban areas, then you will be able to find exactly the help you need.  Information can be obtained by clicking on the above link or contacting the company by phone.
