Pakistani internally displaced people from the tribal region of Bajur walk a long a muddy street after a storm at the Jalozai refugee camp near Peshawar, Pakistan. U.S. efforts to pump millions of aid dollars into northwest Pakistan and dry up support for the Taliban and al-Qaida have barely begun because of attacks on development workers, fears of corruption and dragging bureaucracy.
Pakistani internally displaced people from the tribal region of Bajur line up as they wait to receive their donated food the Jalozai refugee camp. Many wait to be registered to get the aid, when distributed. When you think you've got it bad, just look around the world at all the hunger and distruction people are facing.
